C&J's Animal Park is just 3 miles outside Portadown Centre. Our address is 30 Derryall Road, Portadown, BT62 1PL. Google Maps will usually bring you right to us.
You can get to Portadown Town Centre easily by Bus or Train. We would usually recommend a taxi for the rest of the journey as we don't have any bus stops close to the Park.
No, you do not need to book to visit, just arrive within our opening hours.
Some special events may require a pre-booked ticket, this will be communicated well in all promotional material.

Occasionally we may have to close unexpectantly, this will be communicated on our social media pages as soon as possible.
No, dogs and other animals are not permitted under any circumstance.
Trained assistance dogs, such as guide dogs, are welcome but please let us know in advance of your visit.
YOU MUST NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG IN THE CAR.
You can stay as long as you wish. The average time to go around the Park would be one hour, not including a lunch break/picnic.

Yes, we have animal handling sessions going on daily so everyone should get the chance to interact with some of our small animals including reptiles and small mammals.
We cannot guarantee you can touch a specific animal.
While the park is wheelchair accessible, the pathways are all gravel.
While all of our animals remain on display during winter, some animals move indoors. You can still see them but it will leave our outdoor paddock areas looking "empty" as the animals are in the barn which you can visit.
You cannot bring food or bread into the zoo for the animals.
You may purchase animal feed at reception. Please only feed it to the specific animals it's purchased for.
DO NOT feed any of the animals human food. Our exotic animals and parrots could be harmed by feeding them inappropriate food.
No, smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Park.
You may smoke outside the front of the Entrance but please be mindful of others in the vicinity.
No, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
At the entrance we sell Cold Drinks, Hot Drinks, Crisps, Chocolate Bars, Sweets & Ice Cream.
You are more than welcome to bring a picnic, we have indoor and outdoor seating areas.
No, the park is open all year round! Our opening hours do reduce in the winter.

Yes, our gift shop is situated at the entrance/exit. We also have some products available for purchase online.
Yes, we accept both cash and card at all payment points. Minimum card payment is £1.
