TERMS & CONDITIONS

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, animals, and staff, we kindly ask that all visitors adhere to the following terms and conditions. By entering the Park premises, you agree to comply with these rules. Please read them carefully.

Admissions

  • All visitors must hold a valid ticket for entry. Tickets are non-refundable. Please ensure you purchase the correct ticket type at reception. If your child is under 3, or if you are buying a concession ticket, you must inform us before payment, as refunds cannot be issued afterwards.

  • Admission is only permitted up to one hour before closing time.

  • Dogs and other pets are not permitted. Please do not bring them with you, as they cannot be left in your car. Fully trained guide dogs and registered assistance dogs are welcome, but we must be notified in advance of their attendance.

  • We cannot guarantee that any specific animal will be on view during your visit, or that you will be able to pet or hold a particular animal during handling sessions.

  • Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

  • The Park may close in the event of extreme weather, unforeseen circumstances, or other necessary reasons. Any unexpected closures will be announced on our Facebook page as soon as possible.

  • The Park aims to be as accessible as possible, and wheelchair access is available; however, please be aware that our pathways are gravel. If you require any assistance during your visit, please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff.

  • C&J’s Animal Park reserves the right to refuse admission or to remove any visitor who does not comply with these terms and conditions, or whose behaviour is considered disruptive.

Code Of Conduct

  • Please be aware that all animals carry microorganisms that can be passed to humans and may cause illness. While the risk is low, it can be reduced by washing your hands and your child’s hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling animals, before eating, and before leaving the Park. Hand sanitiser and wipes are not sufficient. Handwashing stations are provided at the entrance/exit and in the toilet block, located between the reptile house and the petting barn. Children should be reminded not to touch their face until their hands are clean.

  • Food and drink must only be consumed in designated picnic areas. Eating and drinking near the animals is not permitted.

  • Children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times. Please supervise them and do not leave them unattended.

  • All animals may bite or scratch. Any interaction with the animals is at your own risk.

  • Do not climb on, over or attempt to cross barriers. Barriers are in place for your safety, as some of our animals may be dangerous. Visitors found crossing barriers may be asked to leave.

  • Do not put your hands or fingers into any animal enclosure, and do not attempt to enter any enclosure.

  • Please respect fellow visitors, our staff, and all Park property at all times.

  • Do not feed the animals anything other than the approved feed available for purchase at the entrance, as other food may make them unwell.

  • Barbecues are strictly prohibited for safety reasons.

  • Please do not intentionally disturb or harass the animals.

  • Follow all safety notices and instructions given by staff during your visit.

  • Balls, scooters, bikes, rollerblades, hoverboards, and similar items are not permitted in the Park.

  • Expectant mothers are advised not to handle animals, particularly kid goats or lambs.

  • Please remain on the designated paths throughout the Park.

  • C&J’s Animal Park reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone carrying out commercial or promotional activities without prior written approval.

  • Vandalism, theft, or deliberate damage to property is strictly forbidden and may result in prosecution. Please also take care to avoid accidental damage to our grounds and equipment.

  • Alcohol, illegal drugs, and weapons of any kind are not permitted on Park premises.

  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the Park, including outdoor areas.

  • Aggressive, disruptive, or abusive behaviour towards staff, visitors, or volunteers will not be tolerated.

  • Car park spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis. We cannot guarantee a space.

  • We cannot take responsibility for any theft, damage or loss to your vehicle.
